1.1. Training Services
MRV Training and Support Center will be responsible for providing the following trainings.
Ø GHG Monitoring Plan and Emission Reporting Trainings:The trainingson preparing greenhouse gas emission monitoring plans and reporting of the relevant industrial facilities with regards to general regulation and/or sector specifically in line with the sectoral requirements.
Ø Train to Trainers (Technical and Soft Skill):The trainings for capacity development of the trainers in line with the international standards.
Ø Market Mechanism Trainings: The trainings for potential leaders and experts on current voluntary market mechanism and the potential mechanism systems (ETC, CDM, VER, CCX,etc.) fundamentals and standards.
Ø Verification Process Trainings: The trainings on orientation trainings for facilities on verification processes, mainly on the critical criteria for choosing the verifiers, the priorities on agreements with the verifiers, defining the verification processes to give deeper understanding on how to work with verifiers to the facilities and the legal entitlement of the verifiers and the facilities during the verification process.
Ø Carbon Footprint Calculation Trainings: The trainings on the carbon foot print calculations and the carbon management analytical methods related with the definition, reduction and evaluation topics.
Ø Laboratory Trainings:The development trainings for laboratories to achieve incoherence with the international and national standards.
Ø Re-Certification Trainings +Exam:The certification trainings and exams will be commenced, ifrequired on the updated regulations by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
1.2. Technical Support Services
MRV Training and Support Center will be responsible for providing technical support services on the below topics;
Ø Online System Support Services:The maintenance, updating, management and providing the service policies of MRV information technologies infrastructure by coordinating the third party system support contractors. This support will be supplied towards Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
Ø Stakeholder Database Services:The storing and management of the sector and facilities’, governmental organizations’ and the other stakeholders’ database to enable the usage for the analytical studies and accounting/reporting mechanisms.
Ø Communication Point Services:The structured communication point for target audiences/beneficiaries and service suppliers.
Ø Frequently Asked Questions:The submission of the frequently asked questions and answer on the system about the system, manuals, trainings and examinations.
1.3. Expertise Services
MRV Training and Support Center will be responsible for providing expertise services on the below topics;
Ø Research Reports and Publications:The determination, execution and promotion activities for research and development studies in collaboration with the academic institutions.
Ø Multi-access Platform Management:The orientation and organizations serviceswith Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, related ministries and sector representatives to enable mutual evaluations on academic researches and strategy development, organization of the consulting meetings when the other related ministries should be encountered as stakeholders, services to Climate Change Coordination Committee and contributions and proposals to project coordination services within the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
Ø Best Practice Cases and Incentive Programs:The presentation, promotion and reporting on the national and international best practice cases for providing benefits to the stakeholders in the congresses and national meetings and the organized activities for incentive programs for national best practices.
1.4. Awareness Services
MRV Training and Support Center will be responsible for providing expertise services on the below topics;
Ø Annual GHG National Congress:The organization and management of congresses for providing national and international experts’ know-how, current developments and contributions to support future studies for all relevant stakeholders.
Ø Congress with Public Authorities:The organization and management of congresses for providing national and international experts’ know-how, current developments and contributions to support future studies for only Public Authorities.
Ø Conferences and Workshops:The organization and management of conferences, events and workshops (on specific sector, topic and target group).
Ø Publication:The regular informing publications (online and/or printed) about the national and international developments and current applications on carbon management and MRV system.
Ø Guides for Informing the Entrepreneurs and the Investors:The developing and providing the standard guidelines to the entrepreneurs and the investors for providing information on national greenhouse gas emission regulations and related priorities and important issues.
